This one is a spin off from "Bug 123311 - Print dialog too wide in EU localization", may be even a DUP

To see the problem you need a Basque 4.0.1 RC2 Build.

In writer Print dialog for a document containing a comment you find at the end of the Writer Print dialog (difficult to find because of "123311 - Print dialog too wide in EU localization" the dropdown for print properties. Possible properties are:

a) Print text in black - "Imprimatu testua ~beltzean"
I think "~" is wrong there (but I don't speak that language)
b) Specifies whether the text is always black Print c -
Testua beti beltzez imprimatuko den edo ez zehazten du
   > No "~" problem here
c) pages - Orrialdeak
   > No "~" problem here
d) Print automatically inserted blank pages -
Inprimatu ~ automatikoki txertatutako orrialde zuriak
I think "~" is wrong there (but I don't speak that language)

But the main problem that that is a completely strange selection there, all other Languages have "Comment" Properties at that place. But I think there might be a correct place for these texts in the dropdown, and there they should be shown without "~"?
