Description bubikolramios 2013-10-01 13:45:38 UTC
1. f5 , shift + click is suppose to do multiple table object select. It does not work. It selects nothing

2. The task is to merge tables that are going one after another, the manual recipe is:
   a: delete ewerything between 2 tables by hiting backspace
   b: when there is onyl one imaginary line between tables, hit del, the tables jumps together
   c. you are in first cel of bottom table, select tables/merge table

   Great that works.

3. Since there is same text in each table (of multiple tables) top left cell, put following into macro:
   3.1 Find that text
   3.2 everything under 2.
   3.3 hit down key

   execute that macro .....
   Does not work, tables are not merged.

IMHO multiple select in Navigator is not possible.

Please attach macro.

Test: hawe 4 standard tables 4x4, no visible space between them - has been deleted by DEL.
Each has 'a' in top left cell. Put cursor above tables , run macro 4 times

OK- I don't see where merge table command is in there
1. recorded it when clicking on appropriate menu
2. Pressed CTRL+SHIFT+G (should be shortcut for 1) while recording

Comment 3 bubikolramios 2013-10-08 07:15:30 UTC
as I remember from basic rem is commented code !?

rem dispatcher.executeDispatch(document, ".uno:MergeTable", "", 0, Array())
Comment 4 Edwin Sharp 2013-12-15 09:49:23 UTC
Sorry for late reply, but nothing happens when running macro in comment 2.
Comment 5 bubikolramios 2013-12-15 11:47:25 UTC
Sure it does not happen coz the necesarry code is commented ! By OO !

The point beeing:

rem dispatcher.executeDispatch(document, ".uno:MergeTable", "", 0, Array())

see "rem" there, it was automaticaly added without reason

I was recording macro
2.CTRL+SHIFT+G (merges tables)
3.stop recording.

The macro in coment2 is as is, recorded & created by OO writer with upper procedure. "rem" writen without any reason.

If I manual edit code and remove rem, then it works as expected.
Comment 6 Edwin Sharp 2013-12-15 13:31:20 UTC
Thank you for this explanation.
Recorded macro is not merging tables as expected.
