When I open Open Office a box opens that says

"Restore Windows
The application “OpenOffice” was forced to quit while trying to restore its windows.  Do you want to try to restore its windows again?"

Then it gives me the option to restore or not restore the windows. However, neither of these options work. I've restarted my system and have even un-installed and reinstalled Open Office but it's still doing the same thing. The only way for me to get rid of the box is to force quit the application all together.

Please help.

I am pretty sure that this one is a DUP of "Bug 119006 - Restore windows problem on Mac OS X"
