file with 2 internal links

links don't work between .pdf documents Forum, 2013jul.17
Lnk.odt has 2 internal links: one to heading LinkA, the other to bookmark LinkB.
LnkX.odt has the same links --external-- to Lnk.odt.
All these links work with the original .odt files. The internal links also work within the PDF exports. But, from LnkX.pdf, clicking a link opens Lnk.pdf at its beginning, not at the target in the document. This happens whether the PDF export option 'Export bookmarks as named...' is on or off. Other options were: #Convert doc refs...; #Export URLs relative...;
Cross-document links: #Open with PDF reader...
PDF readers used: Nitro, Adobe X.

Now I see 2nd attachment...

File not found error.
Comment 5 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-10-28 13:27:42 UTC
I also can confirm the observations, in a first quick test I can't find a PDF Export setting leading to the internal targets (Heading / Bookmark) in the target documents. But how can we know that it's not a Problem with AR or similar (I don't think so)?

All OS or whatever TAB used? Currently WIN7 due to Edwin's results.

Some more tests required.

TAB, Edwin:
Any idea how to test whether it's a problem with the links in LnkX.pdf or with the targets in Lnk.pdf? Probably a link problem because internal links work in Lnk.pdf, but you never know ...

No problem with

LnkX.pdf opens Lnk.odt
Comment 7 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-10-28 16:46:06 UTC
@Edwin
I think that's not the core of the problem. Original report tells that the links in "LnkX.pdf" DO open "Lnk.pdf" (with correct PDF export settings), but the problem is that focus is to start of document, not to Heading (Link A) or to Bookmark (Link B).

Additionally there might be problems to open "Lnk.pdf" with inappropriate export settings or similar, but if I understand TAB correctly that is not what he wanted to report here.
Comment 8 Edwin Sharp 2013-10-28 18:25:00 UTC
Comment 6 is just to say there is a difference in behaviour between Win 7 and Debian...

I think this problem has also come up in the forum:
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=70036

It seems that links to external files (or possibly #targets in external files) are exported properly under Linux but not under Windows.

link code in pdf exported under Linux:
<</Type/Action/S/URI/URI(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenOffice.org#Features)>>
<</Type/Action/S/URI/URI(Calc_sort_dbrange\(2\).ods#Sheet3)>>

Same from AOO on Windows:
<</Type/Action/S/URI/URI(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenOffice.org#Features)>>
<</Type/Action/S/GoToR/F(Calc_sort_dbrange\(2\).pdf)/D/Sheet3>>
