Description Rosalea 2013-10-31 19:20:26 UTC
Downloaded and installed OO today on a newly purchased MacBook (OS 10.9) and when I go to open the program in Applications, I have a message that pops up and says "Open Office cannot be opened because it is from an unknown developer". Refuses to open.

Very appearent a Gatekeeper problem, not an AOO problem.

@reporter:
thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately you are wrong here, the Bugzilla issue tracking system is for reporting reproducible defects in Apache OpenOffice. For "how to" questions, configuration questions or general technical support issues you can get assistance at the Community Support Forum. You can find the Forum at http://forum.openoffice.org

In the other bug to what I DUP this one you will find a link to Apple support with a solution for your problem.
