Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 123608
Glitched pop-up
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:13:13 UTC
Created attachment 81863 [details] This is how it looks like when the program works. The popup stays. My computer crashed while I was using OOW once and upon reopening the program, I get the popup immediately saying that OpenOffice had crashed while restoring previous windows, do you still want to restore them. When this popup appears, it freezes the program and I need to continuously force quit the program until it is somehow able to load entirely. However, the popup will still be there and stay unresponsive even if it is not frozen. There is no way to get rid of it. I am not sure if these side effects are affiliated with the popup, but my OpenOffice now only sometimes respond to commands (it didn't do this before the popup issue happened). I've had this popup for approximately a year and numerously reinstalled OOW, but it is still there with each new upgrade, the program stays half-responsive and it really affects my user experience. Sometimes the popup renders me unable to use the program at all.
I am pretty sure that this one is a DUP of "Bug 119006 - Restore windows problem on Mac OS X" @reporter: thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately you are wrong here, this is the AOO bug tracking system, not a help desk.
