Additional Info:
(a) Not a new issue, already reproducible with AOO 4.0.1 ... back to OOo 1.1.5
(b) I did a quick test for "formula COUNTIF with wildcard "?"". It seems I
    get correct result with RE search string ".*WH.*6.8.*" in Find, Filter and also
    formula works correct. So there might
(c) Might be related to
   "Issue 123908 - Database formulas show wrong results with wildcard characters
    if there are multiple conditions"
   "Issue 17993 - Add wildcards to the standard autofilter"
   "Issue 32344 - Simple wildcards * and ? as opposed to regular expressions"
(d) Currently too much uncertainty for an independent CONFIRMED issue

@liuping
