Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 124090
Copy / Paste includes contents of hidden rows / columns
Last modified: 2017-05-20 09:53:01 UTC
I don't know, if it's a bug. But it's annoying. I've got several Calc sheets. Some rows are hidden. When I copy some visible rows whith hidden ones between, the hidden ones where insert in the other document too. Example: ---------- Calc sheet: "Sheet 1". Rows "C" till "F" are hidden. Copy cellrange "A1:G5". Insert in a new sheet. All rows are visible (A, B, C, D, E, F and G). Expected behavior: -------------------- Only the previous visible rows (respectively the content of the visible rows) should be inserted.
Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.0 User Profile used for all predecessor versions Additional info: (a) Related to "Bug 74398 - Choose whether to copy hidden columns" (b) More or less inconsistent: * Contents hidden by filter will not be copied * Contents hidden by "Hide" or menu 'Data -> Group and Outline -> Group' Will be copied (c) Same behavior with (c1) LibO 4.1 (c2) Softmaker FreeOffice (c3) Calligra (c4) Gnumeric (d) I hate the current behavior, but I don't know whether it is intended (d) not new, same behavior already with OOo 1.1.5 (e) Already reproducible with Pre-3.4.0 (OOo 1.1.5), but because of crippled Version selector (Bug 123063) no useful info can be contributed (f) related to "Bug 115883 - Copy/Paste to other applications does not exclude hidden columns/rows "
