Description juliane.heider 2014-02-10 21:27:39 UTC
The message below simply does not vanish, no matter whether I select 'restore windows' or 'don't restore windows' or force quit the programme:

The application “OpenOffice.org” unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows. Do you want to try to restore its windows again?

It also means that I cannot open existing documents although new ones are possible.

What do I need to do?

Thanks.

Probably DUP of "Bug 123681 - Unresponsive warning window, program can not export to rescue data, only force quit will close "

This is the AOO Issue Tracker system, not a helpdesk! You can get help from the public users mailing list users@openoffice.org or on the forum at <http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/>

For a workaround please see

<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+4.1+Release+Notes#AOO4.1ReleaseNotes-KnownIssues>

And always information what Operating system you use is useful.
