Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 124611
Created locale for nds_DE (Low German/Low Saxon)
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:35:31 UTC
Created attachment 83103 [details] The Low German locale file In response to feedback trying to get my Low German spell checker into OpenOffice I created a locale xml file for Low German, based on the generator from (http://www.it46.se) and on the German de_DE.xml file. I have attached the file to this report for review. I hope I did everything right.
"arielch" committed SVN revision 1585172 into trunk: i124611 - nds-DE locale data
"arielch" committed SVN revision 1585173 into trunk: i124611 - Include nds-DE locale data

The locale data file looks fine, the code compiles without errors, and the locale can be selected on the Options dialog, so I committed the code on trunk; please verify that all locale settings are working as expected with tonight's nightly builds from the build bots, you can find them tomorrow at http://ci.apache.org/projects/openoffice/ (files with install_arc on its name do not need installation, you just need to uncompress them), check that the revision must be >= revision 1585173
Created attachment 83110 [details] updated nds_DE.xml Thank you, I tried the revision 1585173 snapshot. I found an inconsistency with the date format, which is apparently parsed sensitive to language, e.g. "TT.MM.JJ" will work in the de_DE.xml, but "DD.MM.JJ" does not work in the nds_DE.xml file. Note the use of "JJ" instead of "YY". So I changed it to "DD.MM.YY" in the nds_DE.xml for all occurrences. Hopefully this will fix the issue.
"arielch" committed SVN revision 1585331 into trunk: i124611 - Correct date format in nds-DE locale data

I tested it in revision 1585331 and could not find any errors.
