Description Rainer Bielefeld 2014-06-06 07:13:51 UTC
Steps how to reproduce with server installation of "AOO 4.2.0-Dev – German UI / German locale [AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704 2013-07-16 14:54:56]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions

1. Open this document with affected AOO 4.2-dev Version
2. Save under new name, close
3. Reopen from Recent Documents
  > Read error! Format drror discovered in file in sub-document
    styles.xml at 2,2950(row,col)

This seems to happen with any Writer document (I tried several ones). Draw and so on not yet tested.

As far as I remember this was still ok with "AOO 4.2.0-Dev – German UI / German locale [AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1597166 2014-05-20 1]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions, may be also Rev. 1598806 2014-06-02

It's a general problem, same in Draw
Comment 3 David Bell 2014-06-09 20:02:26 UTC
I experienced this with AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1600106 but not with AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1597981 running on Win 7 x64.

How do you get the saved copy into "Recent Documents"?

Seems to work with the latest trunk on FreeBSD.
Comment 5 Max Henzerling 2016-10-01 02:50:37 UTC
I am unable to reproduce this bug, since the document does not show up in recent documents.

Specs: Windows 10
