Can open the document with problem. AOO 4.1.1 dev Ubuntu 14.04
I can also not reproduce a crash when opening the given sample document. @Wayne Bjorken: Do you further information about your installed AOO version: - certain installed extensions - language - clean installation or upgrade of previous version - ...

The Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit operating system service pack 1 was used to try to open this document.

I re-tested this operation with exhibit file and this time it did not fail. Several changes to the platform OS (updated) and perhaps an Apache update might have cleared this anomaly. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks to all who assisted.
