Problem Tables from word

Page break and lose the table on page 23 of the open Word document Please help thanks

AOO version: 4.2.0 (AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1692551, Rev.1692551) Operating System: Windows 8.1 Enterprise -------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Information: -------------------------------------------------------------------- - The opened document is in format Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document (.doc). - In MS Word, the table is included in page 23 and titles are included at the right of the table. Bottom table content is clipped. Attached page 23 - MS Word.jpg. I noticed that other tables in the document are clipped too. Are they suppose to be clipped? Maybe the file was corrupted after opening it in both text editors. - In Writer, only the titles are included in page 23 (centered), and the table is included in page 24. Successfully was able to replicate the bug using windows 7 and version 4.1.1 of writer using the document submitted by the original bug reporter. The table should appear on page 23 (as it does in word) but when imported to writer the table appears on page 24. I have tried to replicate this error using other documents but I do not seem to be able to create a similar result. All tables I create split properly when importing as a .doc. An interesting detail in the original document: when looking at the table format, “Allow table to split across pages and columns” is checked, yet the table still does not split properly. The documents were specifically imported into writer by: 1. Opening writer 2. Clicking File -> Open 3. Clicking on TBC.doc 4. Clicking open The documents were also specifically imported into writer by: 1. Right clicking on TBC.Doc in file explorer 2. Clicking Open With -> OpenOffice Writer These two methods provided the same results.

Saved Rohely's original document in Microsoft Word -> 97-2003 format. Then saved document to: OpenOffice Writer version 4.1.2 Used my home laptop to replicate bug: * Dell Inspiron laptop, model N5010 * Windows 7, Home Premium * 64-bit operating system * 4.00 GB installed memory, 3.80 GB usable Opened document in Writer 4.1.2 and received same results as Jonathan. Table appears on page 23 in Word, but it is on page 24 in Writer. Claudia's screen shots from 2015 are the same as what I see today.
Summary: Replicated on OS X and found new bug that might impact the severity of this one Documents in both Word and Writer looks like Claudia's screenshots and what Timgovikes reports. Environment: OS X: El Capitan 10.11.3. Open Office: 4.1.2 for OS X (AOO412m3(Build:9782) - Rev. 1709696 2015-10-21 09:36:46 (Wed, 21 Oct 2015) Microsoft Word: for Mac 2011 14.16.0 Reported this issue: Fatal Error - Index out of bounds when resizing frame in Word 97 2004 doc https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126930 Impact on severity: Using this document I was able to crash writer by a simple resize of the frame on page 24. That writer has severe issues with editing old docs like this makes it more important that as little editing as possible is needed. Additional note: I noticed that the margins where different when opening in Word and Writer. I set the margins in writer to the same values as doc had in word but this did not solve the problem with different formatting. Speculation: There might be other document settings that are changed when opening the document in writer. Last note: The frame (or is it a table?) contains about 11 pages of information. I copied the content to new document to check how much was in there but not visible.
