An OOo ODT with samples and explanations.

Subscript and superscript defaults to some Raise/lower and size values that can be changed on a case-by-case practice via Format -> character -> Position, but these changes do not seem to stick and they do not correspond to what is produced when the quick buttons for sub/superscript are used.

Also, toggling the Automatic box flips the values to and from the changed value in a fashion that does not seem inteded. It raises an already raised character.

This behavior is the same in OOo Writer.
