error message

hi,

all of a sudden spell check doesn't work. it doesn't recognise a single word of english.

i just tried to download the language pack again and i got the attached error message. can anyone help?

btw, saving the extension to my desktop and then right clicking it and selecting install causes OO to crash.

okay, just spoken with my flatmate and this randomly happened to her about a month ago. her solution was to start using a different software package as she spent 3 days trying to solve this to no avail.

i'm in the middle of my PhD and have 3 chapters written in OO. i *really* don't want to have to start using new software. please help!
