Description wavion2 2016-03-09 21:46:39 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run the installation program.
2. Choose custom installation
3. Click the drop box next to "OpenOffice Program Modules"
4. Choose "This feature will not be available" (the deselects every module)
5. Now re-enable Writer and Calc only ("this feature will be installed on local hard drive")
6. Proceed with installation. When installation is complete, you will only have Writer installed. Calc is nowhere to be found.
7. If you run setup again, and go to modify components, setup thinks calc is already installed. Selecting Repair will not install it either.

The problem reproduces on Windows 8.1

Workaround:

1. Uninstall AOO

2. Do a new custom install

3. Deselect the individual modules that are not to be installed, rather than deselecting all and then selecting the modules that should be installed.
