Description Aleksandr Andreev 2016-05-07 13:54:55 UTC
Church Slavic (Church Slavonic) locale was recently added to LibreOffice. It should be ported to Apache OpenOffice as well:

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/15540/

This would allow users to specify that text is in Church Slavic and use extensions such as the Church Slavic hyphenation dictionary.

Aleksandr, Apache OpenOffice does not have the right to take commits from LibreOffice.

I've changed this to an enhancement request. To work out how to achieve support for Church Slavic requires someone such as yourself with appropriate rights to develop the contribution in a form that can be applied to the AOO code base.

For details of what that would take, please discuss on the dev@openoffice.apache.org public list. To include yourself in the discussion, subscribe yourself with an email to dev-subscribe@openoffice.apache.org.

Hello Aleksandr

Do you want to coordinate translation in Pootle?

then I will create this language. Otherwise I will close this issue as wontfix
Comment 4 Aleksandr Andreev 2018-12-19 09:11:14 UTC
You don't need a translation, only the ability to declare Church Slavonic as the document's language.

This is definitely localedata.

Hi Aleksandr,

If you are the author of that patch in LO, just release it under Apache License and we can take it for AOO (see comment 1).

Basically we only need cu_RU.xml.

I attached a cu_RU.xml file released under the Apache License. Not sure that I did that correctly. I followed the instructions here:
http://www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html#header-existingcopyright

Let me know if this is correct.
