Need a volunteer running Windows 10 to try to confirm the original file. Also Alan have you tried the new version I uploaded?
On Linux I've no problem to open, change, save and reopen the file. Maybe a problem only on Windows. I'll test this on Windows 10 and will report back here.

I'm sorry but I cannot reproduce the error message, too. I've done on Win10 the same like on Linux with the same result: Working with the file is fine. I hope that the new file you have attached is OK for Alan.

Thanks for checking against Windows 10 Marcus. I will wait a few more days for a reply from Alan and if nothing I will reluctantly close this as non-reproducible.
As there has been no follow-up from the OP and was not able to be reproduced on Windows 10, Windows 7, and Linux I am closing this irreproducible. If new information comes to light this should be re-opened.
