Installed open office yesterday. When I click on help/check for updates I get the following message: Error reading from internet server error message. My internet is working properly and I have no problem with it. I am using windows 10 (it has the latest updates) version # 1803. I am using office version 4.5.1

This has already  been reported. As you are using version 4.1.5 there are no new updates. Currently Apache OpenOffice does not do incremental updates.
