Description panov 2003-03-30 23:09:39 UTC
Formula editor has not matrix-vector (usually bold) style. As result the
equation editor formulas with this style are incorrectly imported.

I do not understand the raised issue since you surely can use
  bold A
or
  bold vec A

Please be more specific what you think is missing or what import
should be improved.

Note: Matrix vector styles tend to be different by the books you read.
Some use bold notation others prefer the vector arrow and some other
think you should be aware of what you're doing and therefore use none
of those.

Currenly OpenOffice does not import properly Equation Editor formulas
with matrix-vector style. See attachment with test word file.

The conversion from OO formula bold style into MS Equation Editor
matrix-vector style will be appreciable.

And it seems that a vector arrow is a different case.

I tried OOo 1.1rc5 and it still import equation editor formulas with
vector style varibles (Bold Italic) as plain variables (Italic).

TL->CMC: Do you think we can do sth about this?
Comment 6 caolanm 2003-10-21 17:18:37 UTC
I'll look into it, but its not going to be the highest of priorites so
it may take some time, sorry :-(
Comment 7 caolanm 2004-02-04 18:19:09 UTC
cmc->bh: Theres no real way to do this properly for 2.0. I think that StarMath
would really have to have a concept of styles to make the import and export of
this work properly.

This issue depends on having styles for formulas, same for issue 42119 and issue
5092. Shouldn't we collect this feature wish in one issue?
