Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14065
Voting on issues needs smoother login steps
Last modified: 2003-11-30 07:45:45 UTC
It's not eash to vote for an issue. First click on the link. Then try to vote and be told you need to login. Then go to the home page, remembering the issue number, login, go to the issue page, and then vote. The order should be - look up an issue, when you try to vote be told to logon, then continue to vote. This would help the feedback process. All the best.
Hi, I would agree with Mark. However I think this approach should also be extended to cover Commit, such as this comment to an issue, and also 'Enter new issue' which is at the bottom of this page. It is really inconvenient and tedious the way it is currently set up. Kelvin
Yes...the login does make many IssueZilla entries a bit bumpy. I think you can click the back button to get back to the issue you are adding to, after you perform your login, which saves the need for number memory, as a work around. This login issue is a known issue, and will most likely be incorporated in the improved IZ tool that is "coming soon". I have changed the Summary field from "Voting on issues" to Voting on issues needs smoother login steps". I am marking this issue as a duplicate of issue 2148. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 2148 ***
