Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14803
connectors not imported correctly from MS Office
Last modified: 2008-05-18 00:05:51 UTC
When importing MS Powerpoint 2002 documents having connectors between shapes, the connectors appear in different places than in MS Powerpoint. The problem seems that there are fewer connector points by default in Impress than in MS Powerpoint, and so the connectors end up going to the wrong place. Probably a well known issue, but didn't find it on my first scan.
Reassigned to Christian.

Addition note ... connectors seem to function correctly (i.e., no bug) in StarOffice 6.1 Beta 2. I don't know why the problem exists in OpenOffice 1.1 Beta2 but not in StarOffice 6.1 Beta2.
Please attach a sample document.
I can reproduce it in the latest internal version. It was ok in StarOffice 6.0 PP§ / OpenOffice.org 1.0.3 I attach a sample document Please have a look.
