Description lindahl 2003-05-23 20:08:30 UTC
Redhat 9 provides a version of OpenOffice 1.0.2, built as RPMs.

It's pretty annoying to install a non-RPM install over or instead of an
RPM-based install, because you'd like the little details like integration with
MIME, toolbar icons, etc to stay working. So I recommened that you start
building RPMs for the beta builds -- you have the potential of getting lots more
happy testers.

moving to component installation
Comment 2 stx123 2003-06-02 09:07:50 UTC
Reassign issue to owner of selected subcomponent
Comment 3 Olaf Felka 2003-06-02 09:14:35 UTC
This is not a defect!
Comment 4 lindahl 2003-07-14 23:27:29 UTC
Once again, this hasn't been fixed yet -- you'll get a lot more
testers if you released RPMs.
Comment 5 toralf 2003-10-06 13:20:03 UTC
The same as issue 3592.
Comment 6 mandreiana 2004-10-12 09:44:55 UTC
Marking as duplicate of 3592.
Note that current snapshots ( >m51) are RPMS.
