Description scarr 2003-06-04 04:39:55 UTC
I have a VB project that used the OLE object in 1.0.1. I have downloaded
1.1Beta2 and it appears that the ServiceManager is not available anymore.

Is this installed seperatly?

I am on WIN2000.

Hi Christoph,
is this something you are looking at?
Comment 2 chne 2003-06-04 16:43:09 UTC
Well, it seems to be a Solaris only problem
Comment 3 chne 2003-06-04 16:44:53 UTC
Upps, wrong bug for my last message.
Comment 4 chne 2003-06-16 13:07:25 UTC
CN->JL: as discussed for you

I assume Scott refers to the com.sun.star.ServiceManager activex
components which is used in VB to get an instance of the UNO service
manager. We checked OO1.1b2 on Windows XP and on Windows 2000 and it
worked in both cases.

Thanks. I believe this issue is fixed. I tried it with 1.1.1 and it worked
like a charm.
