Description rifaccio 2003-06-11 13:57:50 UTC
Write a paragraph with a object with default anchor, like this

textextext
<image>
textextextext

then make a selection like.

<start>textextext
<image>
textextextext<end>

then copy to clipboard and paste some where in the document; OO past just the
text and not the <image>
To copy and paste also the pic you ave to make an selection like this

<start>textextext
<image>
textextextext
<end>

I use OOo 1.0.3.1 and Win2000:
Confirmed. If you use "cut" instead of "copy" you will see that only
the selected text is recognized. The image remains at its place.
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld 2003-06-13 12:39:56 UTC
I confirm problem with 1.0.3 german version WIN98SE.

I also confirm the problem with 1.1beta2 WIN98, so Version changed.

I will att. a writer-document for comfortable testing.

Is this problem only actual for WIN or also for other OS?

HI: It should occur also in other OS because it is not a bug, it's a
feature which should be improved.
The graphic is anchored to the paragraph, to get the graphic, you must
also select the carriage return of the paragraph.
Set the graphic to page wrap and the rules will be clear.

Hello Andreas, the behaviour is annoying, that the carriage return
after the paragraph needs to be selected too for getting the complete
content of the clipboard pasted. Is there a solution for 'Q' possible?
Comment 7 andreas.martens 2003-12-15 09:18:21 UTC
Mmh, I see the problem. It's not very intuitive how the object are cut, copied
and pasted. We should improve this but I don't see this for the OOo2.0.
