Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 15769
Text Document Table Number Format Changes
Last modified: 2007-09-14 21:08:26 UTC
In a text document insert a 3 column x 1 row table. In the first column enter a number. In the second column enter a number, then right-click | Number Format... | Currency. It automatically becomes right-aligned. In the third row enter =<A1>*<B1>. Right-click | Number Format... | Currency. It automatically becomes right-aligned. Now change the number in the second column. It loses its right-alignment and the two trailing decimal places. It becomes left-aligned. Right-click | Number Format... reveals it has changed from currency to text format. None of this should change. Only the number should change. This makes it a pain in the #%*#& to create a table that could be used for invoicing, for example.
I experimented with this issue extensively, however, some time after reporting it, I was unable to duplicate. Because of that, it may be best to resolve the issue to "INVALID." (mwaw)
here we go. please feel free to ask for Reopen if you are able to reproduce the problem. thanks

This is a duplicate of bug #54397 (or vice versa).
