Not highly important, but if in Writer, you decrease the brightness of a
picture to -50%, but at the same time increase Red Green and Blue to +50%, the
result will like pretty normal.

If this is exported into msword, as word doesn't support RGB separately, the
picture will appear too dark.

It'd be good if when exporting, the RGB values were converted into
a 'lightness' and this combined with the actual brightness value so the
pictures display at the same luminence in Word and Writer.

thanks again,

(sorry about all these Word conversion requests, i've just installed openoffice
at home where we use word)

Could not replicate the defect reported in an earlier release of Open Office Writer.
There is no perceivable darkening of a created image resulting from the export and subsequent opening of the image in MS Word.
The version of Open Office tested was 4.2.0.
The version of MS Word tested was 2013.
This test was performed on a Lenovo T430 ThinkPad running Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit OS.
Images were also compared using a BenQ GL2460 24" monitor.

Screenshot is attached for review purposes. (Open_Office_To_MS_Word_Image_Color)
