Description zahov 2003-07-02 20:12:09 UTC
While draging the selected area of cells it will be very usefull to mark where
it is on the row and column headers. This will help to easy position it when
dropping especialy in tables with many narrow columns/rows. (Excell does it, so
it is easy to get an example there).

Summary: Show the position coordinates of the selection area at its boundary
rectangle during drag mode.
Hello Niklas, please give approval for this evaluated OO.o 2.0 flagged issue.
If you confirm with the target OO.o 2.0, then please keep it on your owner (or
the owner of the concerning developer) for implementation. In case you want this
issue for 'OOo Later', then please reset the target milestone. If you decline
the issue finally, please set the resolution to 'Wontfix' (but do not close). In
case of 'OOo Later' or 'Wontfix' please reset it on Bettina's owner. Thank you.

The issue title says "highlight in header", not "show coordinates". Anyway, this
is not on the list of features that we're going to do for 2.0. We need to focus
on the enhancements from the PCD document.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

It is impossible to drag a table in Calc highlighted with left click.

Excel 2010 doesn't highlight the destination row and column headers during dragging but this is a very good idea to implement in AOO.
