Description schulten 2003-07-09 10:18:25 UTC
The approach to import form fields as input fields makes absolute sense. The
problem is, that we do not have a usable form now, since input fields are not
part of the tab order, and the input field dialog is no "enter text - hit
return" dialog. There are other problems as well.
Proposal:
- Include input fields into the form tab order (=pop up input dialog)
- Select text in input dialog on opening, make OK button the default on return,
add scroll bars to text box, make input dialog resizeable
- switch off design mode after import
- switch on automatic control focus
- as a mid-term target, make input fields editable in place rather than using a
dialog
