Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 16756
add keyboard toggle to display formulas or results
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
In Excel you can press Ctrl+` (that's Control + backtick) to have all the formulas displayed in all cells, rather than the formulas' results. Pressing Ctrl+` again toggles the display back to showing the formulas' results. There is a way in Calc to get the formulas shown: Tools>Options>Spreadsheet>View, select "Formulas", but that is rather long-winded. It would be nice to have an accelerator such as Ctrl+` to do it in one step. Most of the code should already be in place.
Hi Bettina, one4you

If you confirm with the target OO.o 2.0, then please keep it on your owner (or the owner of the concerning developer) for implementation. In case you want this issue for 'OOo Later', then please reset the target milestone. If you decline the issue finally, please set the resolution to 'Wontfix' (but do not close). In case of 'OOo Later' or 'Wontfix' please reset it on Bettina's owner. Thank you.
This is not on the list of features that we're going to do for 2.0. We need to focus on the enhancements from the PCD document.
Looks like this got implemented at some point. It works in 2.2, 2.4 and 3.0beta2. I suggest someone with appropriate permissions closes the bug report.
I also confirmed with OOo 2.4 that the feature was already implemented.
