Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 16980
inconsistent space for last line on page calculation
Last modified: 2003-11-27 10:08:54 UTC
sometimes, although it looks like there is enough space for another line, Writer starts the next line on a new page. but then, in the middle of the line it puts this line back on the last page, particularly after one has added a small Math formula. Writer shouldn't do this but do it right immediately!
Lars, thank you for using and supporting OOo. Please verify with the latest version of OOo to see if the problem still exists. If it does, we need step by step instructions on how to reproduce this error.
can't reproduce it; occured once -- but these type of things occur "regularly", randomly. simply look out for such things in the code: calculation of positions should always be WYSIWYG and it shoudn't change.
Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it from www.openoffice.org many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back
please install the latest release of OOo and come back if the error still occurs on your system. this issue will be closed if i do not read any further comments until 11-28-03 reassigend to jw
