Description Frank Schönheit 2003-07-17 12:46:13 UTC
- ensure that Tools/Options/Spreadsheet/General/"Use Printer metrics ..." is *off*
- open the attached spreadsheet
- select row 1, in it's context menu chose "Optimal Row Height"
- in the dialog, enter "0,0" as additional space, press OK
=> the height of the row is adjusted, but the text in cell B1 (rotated by 270
degrees) is not completely visible

Note: if you switch the "Use printer metrics ..." on, the bug does not happen.

Also, if I print the document, the text does _also_ not fit into cell B1.

Just swapping width and height in ScColumn::GetNeededSize doesn't work
because of the different scaling factors.

This issue should get target "later". That doesn't mean it won't get
done before 2.0, just that it's not a necessity.

I also have an issue with text not fiting in a cell when printing (or preview also)

When typing a long caracter chain on a few rows in a cell, the printing make a blank space on the top of the cell. More rows there is, more the blank space is high.

The issue is solved by setting "Use Printer metrics ..." to *on*

I think those issues are linked.
