Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17055
Minimize functionality in Navigator and Stylist
Last modified: 2003-07-18 15:28:46 UTC
It's not possible to minimize the stylist and the navigator on Windows-platforms. In OOo 1.0.x there used to be a minimize button next to the close button. This problem exist only on Windows, my Linux OOo on KDE 3.1.2 handles this with KDE features (double click on menu bar) It would be nice to have that again. Right now I must move away the window or close it
Confirm (1.1b2, Win2K). Stylist and Navigator close when Esc is pressed, but unfortunately can't be collapsed to their title bar. I'd like them to collapse when Esc is pressed.
I'm not going to argue that it should be consistent for KDE unless that same procedure works in Windows and Gnome and Macs. I use F5 (for the Navigator) and F11 (for the Stylist) and got used to it in less than an hour. Now I jump it in and out with a quick hit of the keys. Less problem than the mouse. Personally, I like the present set up but multiple options are also not a problem. In short, I don't see the real problem here.
