Hi,

improve chart wizard by the following features:

- show 3 rows of chart types in selection area
- continous scroll in chart selection area
- offer tick field for "show points" rather than offer them as different charts 
types speaking of xy charts

- offer setting chart settings as favorite(s) so that one can create a chart 
immediately (after the first dialogue)

These are several wishes in one issue. I take the last one, I like
that idea with having available the preferred charts. It's imaginable
e.g. to hold the last 5 used charttypes on a page in the wizard for
quicker creation.

Hi Lars, I would like to beg you to check your request against the latest
changes to the chart wizard in the ongoning chart reimplementation. A preview
download is available on the chart page:
http://graphics.openoffice.org/chart/chart.html
There is no need for scrolling the images anymore.

The request to be able to configure a chart as default is targeted with issue 70424.

Hi, I had a look and I liked it. No need to scroll and you neither need a tick 
field show points anymore. The chart type selection dialogue is nicely 
presented and one can pick a chart (xy) with points or lines or both easily 
wihout having to look around. An idea is to have more vertical space between 
the chart type items (column, bar, pie, ...) and also having a larger upper and 
left border to the grey dialogue background.
