I just checked:

pasting WMFs in 1.1 RC Writer or Calc: everything is fine.

but text in WMF graphics in OOo 1.0.0 Writer files is scaled wrong
when opened with 1.1 RC Writer.
Comment 5 lars 2003-07-22 21:47:14 UTC
to obtain such WMFs:

use Equation Grapher from http://www.mfsoft.com

jw:reassigned to jw
changed prio to P4

please attach the wmf
your jpg-files are not readable
Comment 8 lars 2003-09-04 23:15:18 UTC
Paintshop Pro 8 can read them: they are PSP8s new lossless JPEGs

I attach the Writer doc directly: it was created with OOo 1.0.0 and
its WMFs exhibit this glitch in OOo RC3 (already in RC1). Inserting
the original WMF does not produce such a glitched graphic; also
copying the glitched WMF from OOo RC3 to a graphics app gives the
correct WMF back.

Comment 10 lars 2003-09-04 23:27:05 UTC
correction: the demo file "test doc.sxw" was created with OOo RC3.
However the WMF was copied from a Writer doc created with OOo 1.0.0
opened in OOo RC3. It exhibited the glitch when it was opened in OOo
RC3 and it maintained this glitch when copied from OOo RC3 to OOo RC3.

The glitch is the pixelated text
Comment 11 jack.warchold 2003-09-05 11:58:59 UTC
jw: could reproduce on OOo1.1Rc3
works with OOo1.0.3
reassigend to aw

just load the attached document with both office versions and see the
difference

set target to OOo1.1.1
changed prio to P3

Hi Thorsten,
can you please takeover this bug, it is only a little text scaling
problem.
Comment 15 marc.neumann 2003-10-20 15:05:59 UTC
"According to the roadmap of OpenOffice.org 1.1
(http://tools.openoffice.org/releases/OpenOffice_org_1_x.html) this
issue has been scheduled for 1.1.2."
Comment 16 thorsten.ziehm 2004-03-09 10:07:48 UTC
Because of limited resources we have decided to set this to OOo2.0.
OpenOffice.org does not have a general problem with WMF files. This is a special
case and out of this reason if is not so important for a product udpate.

Will have a look.
Comment 18 ooo 2004-06-21 09:46:01 UTC
retargeted due to lack of resources

@sj: please take this one back.
