Description mouchel 2003-08-05 22:29:49 UTC
I use version 1.0.3 on Linux.
I tried to copy part of a worksheet form oocalc to oowriter.
I selected several columns (full columns), then copy.
Then special paste as RTF text in oowriter....
and the sytems starts running, but does not end...
Seems that it did not recognize that the columns had a rather small non number
of non empty rows.
Same does not occur when the area is selected.

I can Reproduce the problem on OOo 1.1 RC4, Win XP Pro Sp1.

Yes, the paste have problem to paste from OOo calc to writer.

Can we have this at 1.1.1 ? instead of 2.0
and please add oooqa keyword please

Thanks

Hi Utomo,

this Issue is assigned to a developer, so no need for the oooqa
keyword anymore.

If you want to help, just confirm the Issues which are unconfirmed and
do not touch any Issue assigned to a developer.

dvo: Copying 32K rows takes a very long time. The operation should
finish eventually. On a technical basis, copying this many rows will
never be very fast, but I guess one could improve the current standing
quite a bit.

dvo->utomo: I'll leave it at 2.0, as I rate would the issue as low
priority. If you think 1.1.1 is more appropriate, please discuss with
other QA members and change target as appropriate.

According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap
(http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to
