Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18054
Hidden paragraphs are still counted in paragraph numbering
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I have a document with a paragraph style that has an outline numbering style attached to it, creating outline numbered paragraphs. If I apply a hidden paragraph condition to one of a series of such numbered paragraphs, while the paragraph in question is hidden, the numbering on the one after it does not change. So: 1. Foo 2. Diddly 3. Bar becomes: 1. Foo 3. Bar JW
Confirmed 1.1rc2
Reassigned to MRU
MRU->AMA: sounds reliable, but could it ever be possible to pass the info on to the numbering sequence?
We'll see..
This is common behaviour in competetor's products. -> feature, not for 2.0
MRU->AMA: the current behaviour looks like kind of "industry standard". But both ways of handling this could make sense for anyone. What abot keeping this in another formatting option (so we could also take care of older documents) for a later office?
Okay, we'll see.
Would be a very cool feature. We often work with checkBoxes in documents, which make paragraphs visible or not, so only the checked paragraphs are printed. Numbering is forbidden for us until this enhancement will be implemented. Peter
