The formula editing window (the text-based pane where the formula is composed)
uses a tiny font size.  On a high-resolution screen, that font size is really
hard to read.

User requests a higher font size for the command window in Math.

confirming, there's isue 21351 which has a patch/pointer to the place
in the code where one can change the (hardcoded) fontsize (and other
enhancements) for the formula-editor. I mark this one as "blocks
21351" for this reason since having it configurable will be more
desireable in the future, but changing the hardcoded default would be
an improvement for the meantime (consider this as well please)
