Description kaeng 2003-09-04 12:31:18 UTC
Printer: Minolta PagePro 1200W, Driver: 1.1.1128.0

I create a new form from the template "Avery Zweckform - 3490
Inkjet+Laser+Kopier-Etiketten". On the printout the text is shifted to the right
exactly half a DIN A4 page. The horizontal alignment seems to be OK. This is not
a sole issue with my printer drivers. The printout gets equally messed up when I
send it to FinePrint 5.01.

cp->hi: I don't have too much of a clue about that. Are you able to
reproduce it ?

Just to let you know: I tried some random form templates and the
result was also messed up. So it's not an issue with the specific
template from my initial report.

Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test it.
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is
small, but we still able to see the problem.

Please check the subcomponent of this issue, I think www is not
correct. but OOps, there is no other option :(

Hi kaeng,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org...

Please try our newest version OOo1.1.1 and send a new comment if your problem
occurs again...

I recently switched from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. I did a fresh install, no
old files were left over. I installed OOo 1.1.1 and the most recent printer
driver. But the problem still persists. The initial bug description is still valid.

HI->OS: I can't confirm the described problem and not other one since 09/2003.
What I'm find out is, the content of the bugdoc has a space to left
approximately 0,5cm. When I print it with HP960c, it's all right, but when I
print it with Xerox N24 (0cm margin printer), the first letter is cut. The same
is visible when you print to file as ps-file.
Kaeng, don't take the FinePrint as reference. It connects to the default print
driver also.
Comment 10 Oliver Specht 2004-06-02 13:23:32 UTC
Some printers have problems when the page size doesn't match one of the default
page sizes.

Trying to print the document on a Lexmark Optra S 1650 PS works fine.

I don't think that we can do anything about it
os->ssa: Do you have an idea what might go wrong or if we can fix anything?
If no this issue should be closed as wontfix
