Description Unknown 2003-09-05 18:45:39 UTC
It would be excellent to have the possibility of
printing more then one column per page (like we
can already do in the writer application)

Hi Joerg,

I do not understand what you want.

Be more precise please, otherwise I have to close this Issue as Invalid.

Hi, let me explain this on an example:

Let's think we are using the writer
application. We have created only a simple
table with 2 columns - for names and
telephone numbers. This table has perhaps
100 entries (rows). The table has a breadth
of 5 centimeters.
If we print this table in the "normal way",
we will need 3 pages, because the use of
the paper is not optimal. (attachment:table1.sxw)
If we use Menu Format / Page / columns tab
and select there 3 columns, so can we
print this "2 column-table" in 3 columns
on only one page and we have a better
using of place. (attachment:table2.sxw)
  Unfortunately this possibility exists
only in the writer application. It would
be nice, if one could print pages with more than
one column also in the spreadsheet application.

Greetings from Jörg
