User defined number of files in the recent file list - extra useful feature. 
(When using several components, your last file disappears quickly!)

(Is this item for the framework component or the word processor? I had a guess 
at framework.)

This is a duplicate of both issue 5114 and issue 2022.

Could/Is something being done about it ?

As I mentioned in 5114, I see this request at least once a week on the French
native lang list alone. What appears to be most frustrating to ordinary users is
that nothing appears to have been decided, and that the bug, enhancement,
feature request, whatever you care to call it, has been in the system for over
two years.
