Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19182
importing nidified lists from .doc
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
I import a .doc file containing nidified lists: using word the lists are indented. instead using OOo the lists start all on the same column.
Created attachment 9066 [details] .doc showing the bug
reproduced with OOo1.1RC4 reassigned to mru
MRU->CMC/AMA: the numbering indents are all set to 0cm in this doc. The indents are created by hard paragraph attributes. I think there must also be done something in the core (accept first line indent in numbered paras) if OO Writer should be able to import this correctly.
No, I don't think so. Caolán, please check if it's a filter issue or if you need support from Henning in the Writer core.
I'm working on indent right now which fixes the general positioning of these paragraphs which is the main problem here. It is certainly true that we currently can't do the different first line indent in numbering the way word does to get it perfect. I'll fix the major problem with this bugdocument under this bugid. The requirements for first line indent are in the requirements document for the 'Q' version. Major problems fixed in killarneyfilterteam13 for 2.0.
Oops, setting a target.
reopen to reassign
cmc->mru: Much improved in killarneyfilterteam13
Checked fix with CWS killarneyfilterteam13.
Verified. Fix will be included in OO 2.0.
Checked with OO 2.0 build 680m35. Closed.
