white spaces at end of line not dsiplayed

if you treat white spaces like charcters, it shouldn't be a problem to display 
them; this means that the caret does not remain on the same position when 
the "to right" arrow key is pressed  -- if the text is left-justified; if it is 
block-justified, don't show a (one) white space.

Seems there are many duplicates for this problem :
Issues 2197, 9485, 19226, 19341, 20512, 20878,...

Issue 2197 seems the first which describes the problem.

Can you confirm it ? And mark them as duplicated ?
My english is not really good.
