I really like the position feature in OO, but it works only for real objects,
not for all features you can use with the objects, there are some exceptions
where you cannot use absolute positioning (enter X,Y coordinates)

That's (I call them handling points)
- mirroring/flipping
- rotation (well you can when using the position and size feature, I am talking
abou the visual rotation feature)
- moving single points of a curve/polygon
- Bézier handles when editing points
- the snap points

I know that you can circumvent this by having a snap-line and snap-point to snap
the "handling points" to. This way each of these are positioned absolutely.
That's great but it would be much easier if you could also right-click on a
point (bézier, rotation, mirror, single point of a shape...) and (like with the
snap point) just enter it's X,Y coordinates.

Thank you for considering it.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

I think it would be a useful feature. The user should get an option to enter coordinates to move the point to that coordinates, when right click the point; whatever kind of point it is.
In addition, having such item in the context menu, improves AOO to be used without mouse.
Therefore I confirm this feature request.

ALG: That's a good idea, thinking about it...
