Product Requirement
'pure' data input

Customer Need/Problem
Data input in our basic table components lacks some specialized controls for
inputting e.g. memo text, images etc. This makes the usual table view hard to
use for more ambitious tasks.

Product Concept
For data input in table/query views (and only those are affected, were not
talking about forms, where the requested functionality is already present), we
will implement some small additions:
First, the user should be able to view and enter images in this view, too. The
view will be available upon request only (for performance and memory consumption
reasons), and entering images will be done by browsing for the image file (as it
is done in forms).
Second, we will allow an alternative input method for memo fields (i.e. text
fields which contain more complex text), which, in opposite to the current
method, also respects line breaks. This especially means that the potential data
loss which users experience when manipulating memo fields in the data source
browser table view will be prevented.
