Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 20942
Writer crash when changing numbered list indentation.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:45 UTC
I have converted a MS Office document into the sxw format. You can find the testfile here: http://www.gruendemann.com/test.sxw The issue apppears if I click behind the first one of the first numbering. After I positionated the curser I am able to decrease the entering point which should't be possible because the entering point is already on the first possible place. If I try to click the "decreasing entering point" Writer seems to need a lot of memeroy (>300MB) and only killing writer helps. Seems to be a memory leak... If you have any further questions, please to not hesitate to contact me. Best Regards, Christian Gründemann christian@gruendemann.com
Confirmed on Linux 1.1.0 and modified summary to be more precise. Recipe: ->Load the test file ->Position the cursor immediately after the number 1 in the numbered list. ->Click the "Decrease Indent" button.
Reassigned to MRU
MRU->FME: Can you please have a look, if this is a formatting issue or if we need the original Word file, for the case the import gave invalid value? Thanks!
FME->MRU: I think this you mean OOo 1.1.1, instead of OOo 1.1.
*** Issue 21528 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
FME: Looks like the 'decrease/increase indent' function did not consider negative indents. As a side effect, decreasing the indent was not possible for left indent = 0. FME->QA: Please see also i21528, 112753 and 112615.
FME: Changes have been reviewed by OS. sw/source/core/edit/adattr.cxx rev. 1.32.200.1 sw/source/core/doc/docfmt.cxx rev. 1.19.238.1
