Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 21022
vertical-fed Envelope is not printed centered / Lexmark printer
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Using insert/envelope and selecting a vertical insertion for the envelope the two addresses are not centered in the space; the envelope must be inserted almost an inch to the right or the recipient address will be cut off along the bottom edge -- because the envelope is not grasped by my Lexmark printer feed guides, the envelope drifts off alignment as it prints. Also, the sender address should be in a smaller font, and there should be a form element to allow inserting an "attn" line and also a reference number.

adding "Lexmark" to Description
hi, thanks for reporting this! we are aware of various deficiencies concerning "printing envelopes" in the current implementation of OpenOffice.org. Things are being worked on in issue 20057. A complete and overall bugfix will be incorporated into OpenOffice.org 2.0. schedule plan for version 2.0 is available here: http://development.openoffice.org/releases/OpenOffice_org_trunk.html
I'll see.
