Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 21620
Undo 'Insert File' leaves document altered
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I perform the following steps: 1. Open a document (created by MS Word, not sure if this is relevant) which contains a text box graphical object as the last thing on the page. 2. Move to the bottom of the document and press Ctrl+Enter to start a new section. 3. Using 'Insert / File' append another document. 4. Press Ctrl + Z to undo The results are that the text box object from the first document has been moved onto the second page, whereas it was previously on the first page. If you need to see the documents that I'm working with, I can e-mail them, but would rather not upload them onto a public site.
I can´t reproduce this with the given steps. If the problem appears only with one file and can´t be reproduced with any other, then I don´t think that we would persists in tracking down the source of the problem. If, however, you can reproduce the problem with some other file, containing some nonsense text, then please do attach it to this Issue.
please e-mail them to mru@openoffice.org please do not forget to set the issuenomber in the subject of the mail reassigend to mru please can you take a look on this issue?
It doesn't matter what origin the added file is. Here I have an SO5 document, which leads to the described problem when inserting and Undo on this action. So there must be something special on the content, which leads to an unremovable Modify flag.
