Description Unknown 2003-10-23 21:35:17 UTC
Hi

If you got a text-field in calc with multiple lines and you mark the first one
and select bold font then the whole field is bold. If you select revert, then
the field looks like it should be, the first line bold, the others not.

Hi,

please be so kind and attach a document showing your problem. For now
I don't understand what you want to achieve.

So please be more precise.

Open Calc, type bla, type Strg+Enter, type lalala, type Strg+Enter,
type foo

Now, mark bla with your mouse, only this line, not lalala or foo

Then click on the bold-button, now the whole field (bla, lalala, foo)
is bold.

Hi *, I can reproduce this behaviour under SuSE 8.2 and under Win98SE.
I observe it not only when I mark the first line as bold, but also as
italic or as underlined. But if only one character in this line isn't
marked, for example a space charakter, then calc works correctly.

I can reproduce it in WinXP. I used OOO320m12 (build:9483).

1. How to reproduce it:
 1.1. Select a cell.
1.2. Write a string in the cell.
1.3. Insert a second line in the same cell by pressing CTRL+enter, then digit
something for the second row.
1.4. Select the fist line (the whole line) and apply bold font on this.
1.5. Leave the cell by pressing Enter or by clicking in another cell.

2. Behavior:
Both first and second lines are with bold font after this. If you press CTRL-Z
the first line will have bold font.

3. Expected behavior:
Just the first line should be with bold font.

- These unexpected behaviors happen if you use bold, italic, underline, text
color, etc.
- If you reproduce the bug and after that you press the bold font button, this
has the same behavior when you press CTRL-Z, just the first line is with bold font.
