Description magrawal 2003-10-26 14:36:20 UTC
When files are saved in Windows, OO does not show the folder with favorite
bookmaarks. I have created bookmarks to all my commonly used folders and like to
have access to them while opening and closing files. Unfortunately, in OO
(actually I use SO7), I have to move through the file system to reach the folder
of my choice though I could have reached the folder with one click if the
favorites folder was available. The attached document shows what I am missing.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

Favorites Bookmark Unavailable to select in Save As.. dialog box

Open OO (Version 4.1)
Click File in top left corner
Click Save As.
Upon viewing the left side of the Save-As dialog box, the 'Favorites' folder was now present and enabled for use
My results confirm this feature has been added to the application and this issue has been resolved

Favorites bookmarks not available in Save As menu in Windows
I could not replicate the bug on OO version 4.1.2, Build:9782, Rev. 1709699 with Windows 8.1.

1. Open OO Writer
2. Click File in top left corner
3. Click Save As.
4. The left side of the "Save-As" dialog box, contains the normal Windows explorer dialog, with "Favorites" link enabled and working.

My results of this test confirm that the latest version of OO Writer is using the file explorer integrated with Windows 8.1 and the issue has been resolved.

Attached is a picture of the "Save-as" dialog.
